Friday and Saturday April 8 and 9, 2011 MidSouth NATS Vocal Competition Lexington, KY Miss Warren will compete in the 2011 MidSouth Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Vocal Competition. Friday April 1, 2011 The Grace Moore Vocal Competition Hinton Music Hall, Wright Music Building, MTSU Miss Warren will compete in the 2011 Grace Moore Vocal Competition. UPDATE: Miss Warren won first place in the competition. Monday March 28, 2011 The Gerda Lissner Foundation International Vocal Competition Liederkranz Foundation, 6 East 87th Street, New York, NY 10128, Miss Warren has been selected to compete in the 2011 Gerda Lissner Foundation International Vocal Competition. The novel's heroine, Anne Elliot, is caught between these two communities: a world dying and one waiting to be born. Douglas Murray and Rachel DeVore Fogarty discuss how they will present these communities in their opera in progress.
